  • In 30 seconds how many stories, events and characters from the Bible you can name?

All great stories have a beginning, a problem that needs solving and an end.

  • How does the Bible story begin?
  • What’s the problem that needs to be solved?
  • And how does it end?

The greatest story ever needed the greatest hero to sort things out.

  • Who was he and what did he do?

The best thing about this story is that it continues and we are invited to be part of it.

  • In what practical ways can we play our part in the greatest story ever? (Focus discussion around how we can connect with God and love other people.)

Over the next few weeks we will discover how the greatest story ever unfolds and the part we get to play in it. But for now, let’s pray.

Pray it

Dear God,

Thank you that you are the author of the greatest story ever. Thank you that you sent Jesus to be the hero. Please help us as we find out more about this story and as we learn about playing our part.

Amen
